Mashav

Mashav is a wearable ventilation system that provides comfortable, breathable protection in hot conditions. It uses the "Chimney Effect" to create air circulation within the garment and includes a solar ventilation system in the hood to enhance airflow to the neck and head. Inspired by the traditional "Galabiya" dress worn by Bedouin society in the desert, Mashav combines traditional clothing with modern design. The project offers a solution to the increasing demand for protective clothing as temperatures rise due to the climate crisis and a fresh perspective on the evolution of apparel.

Roses and Kaleidoscope

This is a fascinating project that started in 2012 as a Facebook page where ASCII and Unicode patterns have been generated. In this abstract project, the generated patterns are adapted for digital art. Why ASCII and Unicode for digital design are so clever? This project shows how a straightforward system of 8-bit and 16-bit code and potentially any HTML text field can be utilised to generate intensely beautiful patterns through iteration and duration and collaboration it can produce sophisticated and vibrant results. This project aims to set up an interactive digital patterns bank on Facebook.

MediCapsule

Medicapsule is a modular medical test kit designed for daily health monitoring in several situations. The kit measures blood oxygen, blood pressure, electrocardio activity, temperature, blood glucose and blood fat. A watch module acts as the power and data centre. The watch module can be clipped onto a band for continuous outdoor monitoring of blood oxygen and pulse rate. The same module snaps magnetically onto separate testing modules for detailed measurements. All results are gathered in the watch module for analysis. The capsule stores and charges every part.

Remoltra

Remoltra is a remote color doppler ultrasound system designed for elderly and disabled patients who cannot travel to a hospital. The system consists of an imaging device placed in the hospital and a smaller home device delivered to the patient. The patient lies down and places the home device over the upper torso. Internet of Things technology connects both units, so the doctor can move a force feedback pen that guides a robotic arm holding the probe. Skin resistance data is returned to the pen, so pressure can be judged from a distance.
