Global Vision at Nuit Blanche

The Global Vision is a monumental eye-shaped light installation that embodies the theme of immigration. The installation allows people to walk through a colorful labyrinth that sheds light on the challenges of immigration. The structure's colors constantly alter which symbolizes the changes that immigrants face in a new environment. When viewed from above, a giant eye is formed by the intersection of two semicircles which represent the East and West hemispheres on Earth.

Imagine a world where sound is sculpted by movement, creating a mesmerizing audio-visual landscape. SoundSculpt is an generative music tool that fuses spatial sound, motion, and visual art. Drawing inspiration from traditional sculpting, it empowers users to become central to their creative process. With AR Frames, head movements are captured and transformed into real-time audio modulation via a MIDI framework. Developed on runtime engine, SoundSculpt offers an immersive experience that blurs the lines between creator and creation, redefining artistic exploration.

This design elegantly captures the essence of the expanding universe, offering a glimpse into an unknown galaxy filled with vibrant colors and intricate details. What sets this piece apart is the designer's daring decision to forgo a predetermined layout for the galaxies and stars. She embraces a free-form approach that celebrates creative spontaneity rather than adhering to a strict blueprint that would require erasing and repainting elements. This choice enhances the overall design and intentionally empowers her to place each celestial element in dynamic patterns.

Emotion Protocol

Emotion Protocol is a kinetic installation that features multiple four-faced Buddha heads mounted on rotating mechanisms. Each head, inspired by traditional Buddhist statuary, is equipped with a motor that allows it to rotate in a programmed pattern. The synchronized movement of the heads produces a dynamic visual display, highlighting the contrast between traditional forms and modern mechanics.

Shang Shui

The Shang Shui integrates four design elements like tobacco, irrigated water channels, sustainable sources, and the light of hope. They symbolize the memories of Old Taichung-Jiushe, blending the hundred-year development history and land memories of Taichung into the art. Utilizing Augmented Reality, it creates an immersive vision, allowing passengers passing through the Jiushe to witness the history of Taichung's development, thus bringing the environment closer to people. The shimmering water ripples on the ground are given a life-like quality, infusing the site with abundant energy.

Luminous Island

Took the ocean as the inspiration and integrated the characteristics of Penghu to create the exhibition with the theme of the underwater world in the fall and winter. Visitors walk into the light corridor as if they were walking under the sea. Various types of lanterns lead the audience to follow the waves and explore the exciting music festival. Sea creatures swim under the moonlight. The exhibition combines the elements of the ocean and the stars, like the starlight of Penghu at night, surrounding the island.
